Aluminum hard lines are going to look great! you going to polish them?, much more show worthy than black air brake hose imo

Take a look at boat fuel door assemblies too. They have some cool stuff too.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
havent decided on polishing them or not it depends on how i end up routing them, i thought i could rout them underneath like i have in the pic but when i got home last night , there isnt enough room underneath to do that so they might go over the top if they do then yes i will polish them !

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
Just got my polished alt case in the mail !! looks great here is my plan all of my brackets and pulleys are March mid mount serpentine (powdercoated black) along with the power steering pump so to break up all of the black on the front of the motor my thoughts are to "Satin Finish" this alt case along with satin finishing the polished Moroso water pump ? the block will be factory orange stock looking , what do you guys think ?? and what do you think is the method to get the "brushed Look" ??? steel wool ? scotch brite pad ?

Looking sick man. I think you just sold me on the crazy gas cap and hard lines for the bags.
Great ideas man.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
me and my father did this years ago on a bumper to get that subdued look.. It turned out sweeet but OMG talk about time consuming. we used a light steal wool then a sandpaper that would barely sand anything dang near wet sanding level. Take your time and use the longest motions in the same direction otherwise you will get a terrible pattern.

Did I miss what color you picked? I guess I wasn't paying attention in class again. Looks awsome. Have a happy and safe new year.

A mix of 80 up to 400. Page 10 of my build shows the process up close.
