Re: What did you do to your truck today. The 3rd chapter

Thanks for the kind words on the truck . I’d like to get it done before winter but it’s not looking so. Was 54 degrees today and windy . Got a few things done hopefully get the back glass in tomorrow.

New rollers on the regulator. Was fairly easy to do I did use a 6mm socket to hold the river flush while I tapped the other side with a cross peen hammer. No crushing of the roller .

Re: What did you do to your truck today. The 3rd chapter

Buttoned up the door but I’ll have to disassemble to install the mirrors when they come . No big deal as luck would have it I bought a new counter parts dash pad and some armrests from a guy on Facebook . The pad is brown and the armrests are black but I think it works with the trucks colors . My dark fawn seat came yesterday too . Out of three passenger doors and two Drivers I managed to salvage 3 silver door plugs

Installed the PO3s I got from too much stuff. After couple hours with hammer and dolly and then cutting the centers out of the worst 2, I got them got put on today. When I get new tires, I’ll paint the wheels white like they oughta be. Now if I could only find some affordable Spicer big hub lockouts!

Gave my rebuilt for the last time differential its 500 mile oil change. Got delayed a day when the friction modifier decided to pour onto the floor instead of the fill point - but Amazon delivered another 4 ounces on Sunday. Got it buttoned up and took a drive to stir it all up..

And to think that I thought I was the only one that had luck like that..

Glad she's up and back in action.

I feel like I am chasing a toddler when it comes to pouring oil into the funnel for the truck.

I’ve always used plastic just wasn’t thinking . Inside of the bumper done just need to get some bumper bolts . Started late on it so I brought it in as it’s suppose to dip into the 40s tonight didn’t want to leave it out .

Re: What did you do to your truck today. The 3rd chapter

Ended up making my own shiny bumper bolts . I thought I had ordered them but I went through my last 3 invoices not on any of them . Tail lights all work only had to play with one backup . Basically just back off the nuts and retighten.

Bumper does have a slight twist to it . It was real bad but I my 12k winch to pull it to where it is now. If it becomes a problem looking at it I’ll buy two chrome bumpers .
