Made some more room in the garage so I can work on her better. Got my eye on an air compressor on Craigslist. I have plenty of space for it now....

Changed the oil to Mobil 1 High Mileage, first time I’ve ever used a synthetic. Hopefully it’s worth the investment. Also replaced two spark plugs and Rain-X’d the windshield.

Fixed a fuel leak and hung a fender on to get an idea of how it's gonna look:

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

I like the Log home, got any other pictures? The wife and I are seriously considering having a Log home built over the next 5 years, when I retire. The "technology" for interlocking has come a long way as well as the weather proofing. There is just something about the look. The cost is roughly the same becasue you save on the interior finishing.

Played with a paint scheme for the rat/worn look. Getting ready for the first cruise night and since the paint was already worn looking, I made it more worn looking.

Interesting "panel" effect you've created there- I like it!

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

I installed an electric fan off of a 2006 scion tc, dual electric fans fit perfect onto the radiator, will post pics of the install. Looks great and increased horsepower. If you want an electric fan but don't want to pay alot of money for a kit, look for one of these scions at your local junkyard.

That's the nicest looking hose installation I've seen. Sure looks more professional than the factory rubber/metal hoses. Great job.

Looks great.... I like those GMC dashes!

I did some preliminary stuff in my interior w/the wrinkle finish but had to do several 'touch-ups' because of a spotty appearance. The other option that I've found looks similar but is easier to get consistent results is rattle can 'texture' paint top-coated w/some satin black.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

In the past few weeks I was able to make some progress.
1. Replaced floor boards & rockers.
2. Installed new posi & ring & pinion.
3. Installed disc brake spindles, rotors and PS box.
4. Ordered new Tremec TKO600 to go with my 454.
I'm making progress but slowwwwwwwww going.
Still hope to have truck completed by fall.
