I'm hoping to be home by 4th of July. I plan to take the truck on the maiden ride to break in the engine by then. I personally love the 101st and all they do.

It looks well used, don't see a lot of 2wd dually's anymore, a bit lower would look wicked...but less useable.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?

My '84 GMC daily driver, bought it from a dealership a couple of years ago, it was their shop truck, only had 134000KM on it at the time. Body is pretty good, interior is a cosmetic nightmare! My '62 GMC has taken much of my attention for the past few years, it's now done. Time to give the '84 some attention this spring.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?

Thanks! Engine bay really needs some TLC, lots of oil leaks here and there, need to replace some dried up vacuum hoses too. Wish it was fuel injected however, easier to start in these ridiculously cold temps these days, -22 right now, heading down to -26 overnight + the windchill. Wish this winter was over already!

That's a good looking dually. Which picture is the most recent? Those look like some late model tow mirrors in the front picture.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?

Kinda new here, this is my 1985 3/4 longbed stepside. For you Washington guys, it was a San Juan County service truck. Bought brand new by San Juan County in 1985 in Olympia, spent it's whole life of San Juan/ Orcas, was sold in 2009 at auction, and traveled as far as the neighboring island Decatur, where I spend the summers and bought it from the guy I work for. Just swapped out the 305 for a crate 350. 700R4.

Those are some weird looking mirrors, also what headers are those? I'm looking for a good fitting set.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?

Thank you very much,

eh the mirrors are mis-matched, that's probably why they look wierd. I do not know what brand of headers they are, I just pulled them out of a guys stockpile of parts, and he said they came off of a sb squarebody.
