Enjoyed the video and was glad to see the truck driven that distance. You did a great job. Liked the ending at a lake.

Thanks, it was a blast to drive. That little lake is Mountain lake, just north of Ardmore. I went fishing there about 20 years ago. I wanted to see if had changed much.

Re: 1969 Short Wide

Had a blast this weekend at my first GoodGuys show in Fort Worth. It was incredible how many cars and trucks they had at this show.
Met a bunch of great people and got to talk trucks.

My wife and I got the thrill of riding in one of those 160 MPH Nascar style cars. That was super fun!
Saturday morning early

Hanging with Tim.

Sunday morning early

Back home safely after 400+ miles

Nascar experience:

That is way cool Mike, glad you had a good time. My wife and I always go to the Goodguys show in Charlotte every year and sometimes the one in Columbus. A lot of nice hot rods to look at

Awesome pics Mike, I've been following along on IG too. Your truck looks right at home with the rest of the beautiful cars and trucks at the show.

Thanks Ryan. I can't explain how fun the nascar ride was. I'd like to take the class this fall so I can drive one.

Dang Boynton! I must have just missed you. I don't remember seeing your truck. You must not have been in the trick truck coral Saturday? I made it out to the big main area a few times but only saw about half the cars.
I only parked in that spot for a few minutes, then moved to the main road next to Tim in the white and black truck.
I didn't spend much time with the truck, I was like a kid in a candy store out there..... Nice pictures, thanks for sharing. Your truck looks great!

I also met long time forum friend ls1nova71 (Eric). Here's a few pics of his super
cool LS powered 1933. He was doing LS swaps before most people knew what they were.

The Tach is a stock style aftermarket unit from Classic parts in Kansas City. I need to check with my son but I think we connected it to the white wire Pin #10 on the Green connector. (Engine speed signal). I don't think we ran it 4 cyl. mode. I will check with him and get back with you.

If you have connected the Tach and its not working at all (same thing happened to me) you should try connecting a pull-up resistor from the tach signal to +12V key on. I don't remember what tach output that our computer was programmed to, but I believe it can be set by the programmer (lt1swap.com in our case).

See the link below for a diagram:
