it does look like a nicely made piece

i got a job again and having fun at it too

idea's for the trucks and the order of things to do are taking shape and get closer to being realized , a few more months and i be able to start building for real

i complete 2 of the trucks intoo running fashion one custom and one basicly stock the thirth will be sacrificed for parts

LOL, it's about the same size !! it's HUGE !
Did you get it from the place that has your gas hole covered?
they make a large one and they also make a small one.......this one is over 5 inches wide, i am impressed with the quality !

Here's a couple, just a bit more $. http://www.crafty-b.net/products/gascaps.php

the "CAN AM" dual inlet racing cap with polished stainless locking handle assembly

6" wide X 10" long and this cap has a cast finish on the body with a brushed lid. locking tee handle has been drilled for saftey cotter pin

double sealed for leak proof performance. 799.00 this cap is shown with optional lightening holes


the "GOLD TOP" brass lid, brass cross bar with a 356A aluminum body all polished up, 4 3/8" flange diameter. Polished 304 stainless locking assembly with lightening holes 375.00 as shown

you might allso check boatingplaces they have some nice stainless caplids they use for water grey water and fuel that you can mount flush in de bedfloor

I dropped off SLOSH TUBZ SQUARED at STREET DRIVEN CUSTOMS, last night they think they should have them ready to get a mold built off of in about 1 month, these are the same guys that helped me with the original SLOSH TUBZ , i am pretty pumped about getting these going also !

as far as the cab goes it is stock i didnt lower the cab any. (www.porterbuiltfabrication.com) he has lowered cab mounts you can buy

Looks fine to me....better IMHO than the whole floor being raised since he plans to drive the truck and will need somewhere for stuff....and better than just a large welded center section since this way he has access to parts he might need access to and can show off the nice frame work....

plus, his has style with the raised lettering
