Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II

El Rondo, Its Gunned Satin. The P.O. did the work, was gonna Rat Rod it somewhat. It does have 3 small dents that were not taken care of before paint. Will take care of them. The P.O. said to his knowledge it was an AZ Truck, and the undercarage and body look the part. Didn't get much windshield time last fall. Winter came early in Michigan, and it still has its grip on us.

The truck came out of the factory with a 327, but has a 350 now and power steering with drums. The P.O. put Firestone winterforce skins on it because he was gonna run it all year but felt it was to nice of a truck to put it through the winter salt on ours roads.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II

Creekncabin: Don't sweat the dents...that is one good lookin' daily driver, dents and all. I don't know 'bout you, but mine is a work truck, and I want a truck I can run in and not have to sweat all the perfection. Workin' guy truck is gonna have a few dents, yea? I got a big repair "cancer" on the side of mine, and I've decided to have a rat fink lookin' bird point it out rather than hide it. Think I'll paint him this week on the door.

Great looking truck! Magazine spread quality!

Thanks! Its kind of a funny story about this C-10! When I was on vacation in Los Angeles, I went to Long Beach HiPerformance Swapmeet just to look! Did see this pickup thought it was nice took a picture and then just checked out the rest! Several months later it stood for sale here in the area close to me! So just had the check it out for real, and totaly fell for it! So I just had to buy it!

This is my first american car, I have been into aircooled VW for years and still is! But i have wanted a old Chevy Pickup for years, so now in a few day I will get it!

My plans are: Have to lower it, move fueltank to under bed, and try to enjoy it!
What i know about it: 350, TH400, 12 bolt axle, front diskbrakes, 20" American Racing, 3 seater - no bench.
When I get it I will make a own thread with more pictures!
