Re: 1969 Short Wide
Ha, I didn't know you knew Eric! He's a great guy, I just saw him this weekend. Yeller would not be nearly as nice as it is without him. Glad you had fun, I gotta get down there one day.

Bring it on, we got a bbq place just down the road with a 65 Impala for a bar and a Comp dragster hanging from the ceiling. First round's on me!

Re: 1969 Short Wide
Just a quick update, I have been driving my old truck when weather allows. My wife and I just made the 810 mile round trip to Conroe, Texas for the Lonestar Throwdown. It was a great show. Got to meet up with a bunch of new and old friends.
The truck performed great. Only one little hiccup when the fuel pump gulped a little air going up a long steep hill. A short delay and we were back on the road. I plan to change a few things on the fuel setup that should prevent that from happening again. Here's a few pictures from the trip. |

Awesome pics Mike! Is your tank baffled or were you just a little low on fuel?

Thanks MMcMasters Thanks Keith, I thought we might meet up down there. I hope you are in good health. Eventually, I will see your Blazer in person. Even if it's just at Keith's shop. Thanks Scoti, good to see you again. Thanks Keith. It's always amazing when you cruise these trucks how folks come right up and visit about them. It usually starts with "my dad had one of these" or "my grandpa had one of these..... Thanks Chip. I followed along last year on IG.... |

Very cool on making the trip and the truck still looks awesome! It's nice to hear you only had minor hiccup and were able to keep going.

Re: 1969 Short Wide
Well Mike, I looked for you a few times on Saturday, but you weren't ever around your truck (when I was). I rode with a friend and hung out all day. You're truck looks even better in person. Maybe we'll meet at another show this year, or next year at LST.
