Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Still needs tons of work, ie. lowering, rims, interior, decent paint, etc.... but it's OK for a start |

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
So for the last month and a half I've been gone with my job. I come home this weekend to find my son had sold a guitar I had given him and bought this 1970 GMC. My wife gives me that "he's defintely your son" talk. LOL Makes me proud, sniffle, sniffle.
He's spent this weekend just cleaning the thing, it blows me away that something could be that filthy. Next weekend will have him replacing the pan gasket, intake and carb and giving it a tune up. It's a pretty bare bones truck, but when he heads back to military school I won't be worried about it like I would with him taking the supercharged '67. |

Posted my 67 a little while back and was asked for some interior pics... Still missing a radio I also just finished putting in my 4.8/4l60e, so there's a pic of my not so show stopping job....

That is nice! what all did it take to put the 4.8 in? did you just take computer and all out of a silverado and make it work?

Hi,
Very nice truck! Can you tell me what the original color this truck was? Is it saddle fawn? I am looking for a color to spray my truck. Thanks Jeff Posted via Mobile Device

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Man I like that setup on the 68. What rearend do you have under that truck, would it come down any lower in the rear or will it get into the outer bedside ?

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
That picture was without the the fuel tank in. It will sit about a 1/2-3/4" lower with a full fuel load. It's got the 72 rearend in it currently, but I'm going to build a 67-70 rear for it just gain the 3/4" clearance on each side.
