Dayum! That is a nice truck. I wish my 86 looked like that. I guess someday it will.

My 1980 Chevy C10. 250 straight 6, three on the tree. About as basic as it gets, although it does have power steering (not power brakes though).

Put the 73-74 style 454 badge on the grill. no such notation for 77 and up. what do you guys think? tried to approximate the placement on the earlier grills.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
My newest project. What color and how big a lift. That is the question.
Specs are 454, turbo 400 np 205 twin stick, Dana 60 front and corp 14. lots of surface rust and not sure on the rockers but, the bed will get replaced. its not original anyways. |

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
Min 4" lift but is a big truck so I would go 6", make it a real truck. Color, well I like red myself, but everyone has their own favorite.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
I have never seen that, guess it is a cheap bottle heater, not a stable heater mind you.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
well everyone knows how dangerous it can be. so if you keep that in mind and constantly check your fittings you shouldn't have a problem and yes it heats the bottle as well. i think its more dangerous mounting them beside batteries in the box of a truck where sparks are found more commonly and a full fuel cell lol my opinion
