That one has been on eBay a few times with no-sales. Seller appears to want it gone but doesn't want fair money per the market.

If you have tried selling it on eBay several times, I would tend to believe you know what the market is on this truck.... Good luck with your sell.

I have only listed it once and pulled the auction because I have interest in the truck for what I’m asking. I’m not trying to be rude. I got the truck on trade only a short while ago.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Forgive me for my lack of knowledge of this generation of truck, but was extended cab offered in ‘72 or is this a custom job?

I think it's a nice looking truck. I definitely know it's worth more than I could afford.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

I agree with Ol Blue above, its a very nice truck, and out of my price range. It is some very nice custom work,i would love to see a shot of the underside area where the cab is fabbed together. the craftsmanship of that area would help determine the price range. That being said, for instance, One could buy a quad cab 2500 duramax with decent mileage for 20K-ish, but thats not a classic either. Please dont take my post negatively, when it comes to classic vehicles, custom fabrication can increase value but also can decrease it as well

^^^ Yes, but only if you mean 15 years old and 100k miles...

I do agree that value of modified trucks is very dependent on the quality of the work. There a a lot of people out there who like custom and comfort.

Oh my, real nice original truck in a super color combo and not that far from me but I think somewhat pricey for what is there. I think the pricing would be more realistic if the truck had factory A/c a big block and factory buckets and console.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

No photos here but hydraulic dump box and PTO winch may be the best parts of this one. Hopefully this will help someone.

And also guys I wasn’t trying to be rude or call anyone out. As I said I traded for it so if I want to sell I have to put a price on it to start. From what I was told it was built in Alabama in a hot rod shop and I’d have to say they did very nice work.

Jac9,
Neat truck that has a lot of hours invested into it.

I respectfully recommend you detail it out a bit more and submit it for Barrett Jacksons in Scottsdale this Jan. They are still taking consignments. If accepted, it will definitely sell and you could make a nice winter vacation to sunny Arizona out of the adventure. It only takes two with deep pockets who really want it and the sky is the limit.
