Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
I think I posted mine a long time ago, but I put 20's on since then and now I have a dilemma. I bent the 20's, and put the 15's back on until I get the 20's straightened. But I kinda like the way the old 15's look and ride. What do yall think? By the way, 7D2, what size are the rims and tires and where are you at in Houston?

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Sweet truck OziC10. That's the first right hand driver I've seen. That was always a big problem for a lot of us Navy guys when we'd pull into somewhere in Australia. We'd get drunk and go to cross the street and look left first. Bad move.
7D2, it's a good looking truck. Did you have to put spacers on yours? I think mine are 8.5's and the rearend is obviously a little more narrow than the front so the rear wheels tuck in pretty good. I wish they would sit flush. I've got 255/35/20's all the way around. They're too low profile. And Discount Tire said I couldn't fit 275's on mine so maybe they're just 8's. |

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Thanks olskoolchevy, that right hand V left hand can be a real bugger, had the same problem as you when I was in the States last year. Glad to see you survived. The conversion makes it easy to get around everything is where it's supposed to be, unlike my other Chevy which as you can see is still left side, it can make overtaking really interesting at times.
Seems the photos are taking a while to load, need to learn how to resize them. Cheers Tony Last edited by OziC10; 04-10-2010 at 08:42 AM. |
