Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Nope brand new, bored .040 over, valve job/surfaced the heads and the whole 9 yards as of today it has 70 miles on everything... oh and the rear end was howling like a dog with tornado sirens blaring so i took it to work and pulled the cover on the rear end and the gear set was wasted so i put new bearings in it and ring and pinion 3:73

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Cool. Well I understand not wanting to do a burnout in your truck with the new engine and tranny and all. I don't blame you one bit.
Listen, Joe and I was wondering if we could borrow the truck next week. Last edited by highperf4x4; 02-11-2010 at 11:45 PM. |

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Someone needs to test their welder in my garage and put on my cab corners.

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
So what do you think happened with your tranny? Did it just start slipping or what?

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
It was running fine then i stopped by work so a train could go by and when we all started going the trans was slipping real bad and truck reved really high just to get it off the road, if you let it sit for a while it goes in gear and drives for a couple hundred feet until it warms up then to nothing again..

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Almost sounds like a band adjustment. If it rolls fast enough to shift into 2nd does it go ahead and take off?
