Re: What's your trucks name ?

I call mine 2Dogs! It's a native american thing. Growing up all my buds called me 2Dogs. Comes from the old joke about how little indian braves get their names. The joke goes: The little brave asks his wise grandfather, how do we get our names? Well says the wise grandfather, when you are born the first thing your father sees when he comes out of the teepee that is your name. Soaring Eagle, Running Deer, Rising Sun, etc. Why do you ask 2 Dogs F##king?

Re: What's your trucks name ?

"Trouble" I bought my 71 not only because I like it, but working on it would keep me out of trouble. But sometimes working on it too much causes trouble. And sometimes I work on it to get away from my troubles.

Re: What's your trucks name ?

Mine comes from the Spanish slang word for 'a lot'.
A lot of time, a lot of money, a lot of work and a lot of patience. At least the end is in sight now!

Re: What's your trucks name ?

'71 C10 - I haven't been able to come up with a name that fits.

'70 C20 - "Grandpa Walt's truck" - named after my grandfather who was the original owner.

'85 Ford Thunderbird - "T" - my mother called it that the first time she saw it, the name stuck.

'05 Pontiac G6 - owned since 2012 and still has no name.

Re: What's your trucks name ?

I've named mine Lurch because it's made of all different car's parts, just wish I could find a part from an Adams company so I could say that it "is part Adams."

Re: What's your trucks name ?

This one is fixing to be painted white just like all my other hot rods. Hence the name ghost, but it also doubles over because first you see my taillights then it vanishes !!

Love the extra holes in the core support. Interested in knowing how much more cooling you believe you get from the mod?

Actually, none at all, since I ended up installing close out panels in the engine bay that bolt to the inside of the core support. So much for the dimple die set I bought and the time making the holes in the core support!
