My wiring for the rear lights is done and everything works as it should.
The bumper is also mounted.

Re: A '62 has to get back on the road
I've only gotten over that too, so my chances of getting a smaller license plate are better, otherwise I have to take a large standard license plate, our registration has no humor, I could change it later if the truck is registered

The Wood is Douglas fir/Douglasie painted black and sanded and finally preserved twice with teak oil and finally polished.

Painted the lettering and installed the tailgate.
It really looks like I'm enjoying the summer in the Truck.

Re: A '62 has to get back on the road
Now the rims have been painted and the tires mounted,
everything mounted, I think the truck will soon be on the road, tomorrow the test engineer will come and do a preview, I'm excited.

Re: A '62 has to get back on the road
Are you going to use the filler plates that go between the box and the bumper? or are you aware of them?

Re: A '62 has to get back on the road
We just wanted to go through the truck and discuss what else I need to do.
Now the truck has been officially accepted. I still have to slap the VIN that we require on the front right of the frame and after the vacation from the test engineer, I will get my papers and can then legally register the truck. Thats fantastic.

Re: A '62 has to get back on the road
Morning Harald,
Any further updates? I know Easter weekend could be four days of government shutdown. Of course we all wait for good news on your truck.

Re: A '62 has to get back on the road
Thank you that is nice.
I got an appointment for next week, Thursday and can then register the truck, I'll report back. I had hopefully repaired the fuel gauge and the horn, which made contact while steering and switched on, the famous little things.
