Love your truck. Like the custom stuff. Your post #300 gave me flashbacks of many hours peering through a starlight scope during Desert Storm. Kind of neat!

I have set of those hubcaps and I only need one more for a complete set. I actually like those caps better than most. Truck looks freakin awesome.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Rednose 65...1965 chevy short step-side

Love the Day of the dead pic.

We want to go to Mexico at some point, Nicola, being a Funeral Director has a real thing about the dead.

Your truck really does It on all levels for me.

Re: Rednose 65...1965 chevy short step-side

Sorry, couldn't help myself on my comment above.

On a serious note, I first tuned into your thread around about the time of your wreck. You have come along way, and are doing a killer job, cheers!

Re: Rednose 65...1965 chevy short step-side

Double post, but cannot edit the one I did yesterday.

I just re-read your whole thread as I wanted to see the whole before and after thing.

Your build has me suddenly inspired to maybe change the way I redo my truck when I get to repaint and build it.

Your custom touches are right up my street.

And of course the pics of the truck with the girls rock in my book.

Lastly, may seem mad, but the pic you posted earlier of your dad helping is my favourite.

My dad was never a "car guy" but loved the mad **** I do get up to, so I could imagine him making coffee or getting a tool closer.

I think having family around with these builds is priceless.

personas como usted hacen que la gente como yo, mejor .
muchas gracias amigo .

Re: Rednose 65...1965 chevy short step-side

Thanks for th he kind words fellas. Since the accident God strategically placed some very talented and amazing people in my life for the rebuild. Without their help and my dads help the truck would never be the way it is now. We still have a ways to go but we're getting there.

Here's then and now. What a difference 2 years made.
