Thumbs up Re: Wild C10 project

Hey guys, amazing work!! Been following along every day. I am a little confused about the last pics you posted. The first pics of the RH front fender work shows added metal to the top of the fender by the door/wiper cowl area. Then the last pics show what looks like some final prep work going on and no extra metal. Did I miss something? Keep the pics coming, this is awesome to watch unfold!!!

Re: Wild C10 project

Sorry didn't mean to through anyone off on the fender! Lol I built it like that because it was easier to make everything line up. We r actually going to add it to the hood. We want to use the factory cowl cover for the windshield wipers and windshield itself. Plus we have to have a place for the hood latch to go. I also built it that way initially because I didn't want the transition to the hood to be crazy or ugly so I welded it all together. Brannon and I stood looking at it for quite a while be4 doing it just in case we liked it that way but the hood would have been 13" shorter and very out of proportion. More of a rectangle than a square! Lol. So we decided to add length anywhere we could. Thanks for asking!

Re: Wild C10 project

I have to say it is very humbling to both Brannon and I that so many people have taken quite an interest in this build. U guys do some amazing work and we both were a little concerned that Brannons vision for this truck may not be accepted very well. He has put a lot of thought and money into it as well as Bryan Lynn at Msa collaborating with us on this build for sema. A lot has come about in a short time. Thanks for all of u and keep the feedback coming!

Re: Wild C10 project

This is the kind of build thread that I love watching. It takes a fair amount of work to rebuild a truck, but the ones I really like watching are the ones where there is custom stuff going on. It give me ideas and I like seeing how people make their visions become reality. Thanks to both of you for letting us be a part of it! Keep the updates coming!

Re: Wild C10 project

No! Lol just the cab and fenders will be in primer. Msa is partnered in this build so being that its there show the owner wants to get more momentum and support on the build. It will definitely be under construction!! Lol
