Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?

Here is my current truck . thought of giving it my shop logo before i sell it. ( capital city customs ). i'm based outta atlanta. so what's the verdict . should i give it a logo before i sell it ? , would people be interested in buying a already logo'ed shop style truck? or just leave it as it is? anybody able to photoshop me one on to get an idea? thanks for the input.

I wouldn't personalize anything that I intend to sell.

But we can photoshop nearly anything......Give me some idea of how you want it to look. Font style, color, etc....

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?

I like this thread! Lots of great trucks. Here's my '67 which was not intentionally made rusty-looking. Notice the old "County of Glenn" emblem on the door; that's authentic. This look won't last forever as I do plan on painting it relatively soon when-i-have-the-money, the same original light blue.

That's kinda crazy. How the heck did the oxydation just get on the passenger side of the hood?

It appears to me the drivers side of the hood and the roof are primered. There is some surface rust on the drivers side hood near the Chevrolet letters.

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?

Heres one I saw at the weekend at a show, its a 63 but was very nicely done, still had farm supply company stickers etc in the back window and on the tailgate but was slammed on 20's (didn't know they made six stud torque thrusts) with a very nice side exit exhaust in stainless, never did manage to catch the owner there but I ssupect under the hood its very very clean and shiny. The license plate reads "Rough as Toast" The patina look seems to be just as big over here, there were several trucks there with fake patina with paint rubbed through to the primer, looked very hokey tbh.

Would you go to a body shop where the owner drove a rusty truck? LOL
