So simple, yet, trick on the little cups. You make them out of cardboard first?

no i had the tubes cut in an angle and then cut them open and made it a flat piece again and used it as a template

have finished up the taillight cups

cut open the outher pieces


and welded in the inner pieces


and a lot of grind work later.......


tomorrow night i will determine the final location and fit them in the fenders

I could roll a set of inner en outer tubes with the angle
so you can do the weld and grinding

I didn't really like the tail lights at first but now that the last pieces of metal where added it made the install perfec.! Great work!!

I'm with Rudedog. At first I thought, "why didnt he french them in all the way?" Then I saw the second part and it made sense. Looks good!

nice work on the firewall seam too, did you shave the cowl vent too?

@HOTROD1... look at using exhaust tube to make similar tail lites
