Re: Project N2Deep

I haven't stopped by in over a week. Last I saw he had another fender on and was working on the gas tank install. I told him to call me when the front was together! I will stop by next week (I've been working so much I don't even have the energy to get upset about the delays). Plus I got my garage all tore up doing some drywall work (that I started 4 weeks ago-another unfinished project???).

The 55 is in my other garage with dust all over it. I haven't had a chance to wash or drive it. I bought a BMW M3 a month and a half ago and haven't washed it since.

The Airstream looks amazing... and the M3 isn't to shabby either.

Re: Project N2Deep

I will have to look up the paint code, but it is the standard silver for BMW's. I had a 98 M3 a few years ago and it was the same color. The current car is a 2006 BMW M3 silver on black!

Ran into a problem with the project truck. I have it at the shop on rally wheels and he installed the CPP fuel tank and the tank bottoms out with 2" still to go before the suspension bottoms out. He does have the front jacked up, but I never heard of anyone having issues with the fuel tanks and notch??? I plan on taking my 22" wheels to see if it helps. I did plan on using 1-2" bump stops on the rear to level it with the front. Anyone have any info on these tanks?

Re: Project N2Deep

can't say 100% sure but I'd imagine with the front end down and the bumpstops you'd be fine.

Re: Project N2Deep

I have to agree, WOW

Could you take a pic or two of the custom inner fenders and where did you run the wires from the fuse block?

These are the best pics I have. The wire harness is under the dash (EZ Wire) and most wires are hidden (bottom of cab & in fenders etc....)

Re: Project N2Deep

I stopped by the shop last night and he had the truck running. He had to replace the Barry Grant carb with another carb, he said it was no good and leaked gas. Not sure if I'm going to have it rebuilt or just buy an Edelbrock.

Re: Project N2Deep

I agree! Your rides are sick!
A few suggestions, for the airstream, get some of the chrome/mirror tint on the windows, chrome out the propane tanks, and some 18inch chrome steelys lol --------- Just kidding! But it would be cool though! Again awesome rides! Subscribed!
