Here is my 63 GMC Custom. I have had it for 4 yrs. working on her in my spare time (not much time lately). It will be a spare truck. Nothing crazy, just something to jump in and drive whenever I want.

Cool GMC. Want me to come over and get the '55 out of the way for you so you can park it in the garage??

jchav62,

Are those "Cateye" chrome round headlight covers or stainless?
I want a pair stainless. The half moons i have now are stainless
I have been looking online:
http://www.taillightking.com/Headlig...rs_Shields.htm

http://www.taillightking.com/31-53GMTruck.htm

http://www.bobschevytrucks.com/exter...dlight-covers/

http://www.bobsclassicchevy.com/headlight/

Although I found some half moons with the chevy logo on them.

Re: Post Your 60-63 Body Style Chevy/GMC Trucks

Here's my 63 Sub, the last year of the panoramic windshild. Mine is a bit "different" from all the others posted, in that it's not of the pickup variety, and that it's no Chevy. It is all GMC through-and-through.

I posted to Stovebolt about it back in 2003, and after a color change from the Palomino tan (adobe pink) to the medium dove-gray and countless hours of shop and restoration time, this is the end result.

This one was really fun for me in restoring back to better-than-new.
There's a slideshow here of many more pics taken during the resto process;

http://s988.photobucket.com/albums/a...view=slideshow

Enjoy!

Let's see some more, you spolied brat! I'm kidding, I'm kidding!

But seriously, any chance of showing us the engine? Bedwood? Interior? That's a REAL nice truck.

You'll probably do what most of us did that had something nice at an early age - sell it. Then spend the rest of your life regretting it. Mine was my dad's bought-new '55 Chevy two door hardtop Belair in black. Man, it STILL kills me and I'm an old dude now.
