Keep em. I have mine still on and love them. You already have it painted so it would suck to redo the doors just for that, but the mirrors look good on them. I have the square ones which I love on the square bodies.

now you just need an 80's chevy so you'll have every decade....wait, you do have an 80's clip, so i guess mission acomplished.

Re: My 73 c10 project.....

here you go maxxxy sorry about this taking so long bro i didn't know where to put this pics for you and i didnt want to hi jack your thread but this is how i decided to run my gas tank on my 77 that i body dropped i realized that a blazer or suburban tank wasn't gonna work on my truck since i had placed my panhard bar right behind the axle and the panhard bar is an pretty long and it seats on a angle and a fuel cell would had worked but i can use that money to put it somewhere else on the truck where people ar gonna see it and the gas tank will be under my bed floor anyway.... now i dont know if this would work for you since im not sure how high you gonna raise your bed floor and what your currently running behind the axle and this should be done before you built the frame to raise your bed floor....... i started by notching the frame right behind the axle 2 inches so the gas tank will sit 2 inches lower here are some pics....

How come your using an original style tanks, versus an aftermarket fuel cell?

thanks instead of buying the fuel cell im gonna be putting the money somewhere else on the truck where people can see it under the bed floor very few people gonna be able to see what im running for gas tank instead im gonna put it on the interior, sounds, and maybe engine there is a billet serpentine pulley set up i been wanting to get and so and so lol....

I can definitely understand that. Very true, that most people won't see it under there.

Re: My 73 c10 project.....

Thanks for getting this for me, i really appreciate it. This is a really cool idea man. I never would've thought to do it like that. The only thing that might limit me is What you said, how much I raise my bed. But I have a question.
Does this setup require you to run a roll pan or could you still run a stock bumper?
