Re: Let's see some Burbans!
Man that thing is BAAAAAAD (except the hood ), but that's easily fixed. You should make your own picture thread of it with engine, interior, specs etc

Re: Let's see some Burbans!
what, you don't like cowl hoods? only gave 300 for it, and it was straighter than the old one(fiberglass)....still working on the rest of it, and the camera is on the way....need to learn how to do the thread thing tho

Re: Let's see some Burbans!
Slimbailess, I love your burb, very nice. Very nice. Here's mine, I've had it about 3 weeks. I traded another member for it. You may have seen it posted in the parts section awhile back. It has a 396, AC, PS, PB, Buckets and centerconsole.

Re: Let's see some Burbans!
I probably should have kept that comment to myself. Your Burb is outstanding. No, I don't like cowl hoods that tall. Shorter ones can look good IMO, but It's YOUR truck and plenty of people like those hoods. It also appears that it's not fitting very well, but that should just be a matter of adjustment. It looks like everything on your truck was done with quality and that hood sticks out to me. I bet it will look better after you bag it

Re: Let's see some Burbans!
Here's my recent purchase, a 72 1/2 ton burb. The usual 350/350 combo, lots of "air" vents in the floor, no power steering, radio, A/C, rear seats, but she runs like a champ (sort of). She needs a lot of work, but I just got it a few weeks ago. I don't need a gym, I just take the burb for a drive, the no power steering provides a great workout. The conversion to power steering is a priority on my list of mods.

Re: Let's see some Burbans!
Man, this thread is ooold; cool that it's still going. Anywhoo, here's a couple of pictures of my '71 Ambulance. It's got a 350/350 combo with a posi. rear end. The first summer I owned it it took a 1500 mile or so mountain biking trip from Montana to Moab, Utah and back. It's got some fresh spray-bomb touchup in this pic; doesn't look half bad from the back of a galloping horse.

1sik7t2, do you mind telling me the backspacing on you wheels and tire size. Do you know Using bags how much can I lower it without changing controle arms, I want to keep the 8 lug pattern.
