Re: Nacho Truck

Yep, that master/booster set-up looks great! Nice and clean. I'll be adding that to the list of things to do to the 63.

Re: Nacho Truck

March 17th just found the link. Sounds good, I'm going to get to work and get this thing back together and find a car trailer to borrow.

That's me, had them build the trans. It had a small leak I had them fix. I see your truck in that lot all the time, I wanted that thing when I seen it on CL a while back.

Yeah I'm gonna have them do a 700r4 for me hopefully by march so that I can make it to CPP. I manage the Midas. I get the privaledge of going over to Lodi Trans and checking out all the cool rides that come in and yours was one that I poured over while it was up on the rack. Very nice job!

That's a piece that was smashed out and louvered on my home made mini louver die. I have a big Oak stump on castor wheels that I have carved out in different shapes to form that kind of stuff.
Believe or not I have been working, Nacho gets love but maybe not as much lately as it deserves. Here are the rear tubs waiting for mother nature to do her work.

Re: Nacho Truck

mason, thanks for letting me molest one of Nacho's wheels yesterday so I could see how it sized up in the front of the 58 there.

Seeing pictures in the build thread is rad, but seeing nacho laid out in the flesh is a work of art.

Cant wait to see it rolling down the street!

Pound those rockstars Del.

Re: Nacho Truck

LOL, ya he owed me $15 bucks so I sold it back to the guy in Tijuana. No, last week was crazy with the Grand Nationals in town so I didn't get much done. Should have nacho wrapped up this week and I'll make sure I get some pics up. It's lookin good.

So this guy calls me, out of his mind excited about building a truck. We start lookin around and find it's getting tougher and tougher to find those clean striaght ones we all love. Low and behold a Craigslist special comes up that we've both had our eye on but didn't pull the trigger because it was in Tijuana. I wasn't going over there that's for sure but there was no stoppin this guy.
Well next day he shows up with it and I gotta say it was worth doggin a few bullets for. Plan is 20/22, Porter, Delmo wheels and on the ground. So I say, well we gotta name it. Any ideas? He says well it's Nacho truck, it's mine. Hahaha, done deal. So with that said, I give you Nacho. Stay tuned, this one is going to happen fast.

TJ's not that bad LOL!
