^^^ Nice!
I hope that you drive her, and don't make her sit in the back of a trailer all alone.

Re: How about some pics of 47-59

Hi folks - just found your site - COOL, we love these old trucks. Here are some pix of our 2 1950 Chevy 3100's. The blue one is our daily driver. It has a 1959 261 cu in truck 6 cylinder that we have warmed over with a 5 speed and late model rear end. The green/black truck is our haul it to the track and go racing vehicle. It has a 292 cu in 6 cylinder with 12 port aluminum head, Hilborn mechanical fuel injection, Jerico 4 speed and Ford 9" rear end with Moser aluminum carrier. No power adders - it has run a best of 11.72 @ 113 mph.

Re: How about some pics of 47-59

Luke,
Thanks - we haven't been to Back to the 50's but have heard a lot of good things about it. If we are going to be traveling some distance to an event we tend to favor the ones that have a race included in the activities

Arpee - nice trucks. The drag racer must be a hand full with jerico & injection. Both are kick ass.

Re: How about some pics of 47-59

Ratty 46,
Thanks - I was concerned about how the race truck would go down the track and was very pleasently surprised. It just plants and goes. It will consistently lay down 60' times in the 1.50's. It is way faster than anything I've driven before and it has done nothing but go straight and hard. We must have done something right - it's great fun!
