I'm a young 39, you wont find to many women that will admit to that...lol. And im not sure if i would have to change clip or not cause the guy i bought it off of said he just changed out the grill, but who knows. It doesnt look like the clip has been changed before. heck it might be a chevy after all and for some reason put a GMC door tag on it...Im just trying to get something matched...lol.

Re: "Rice Rocket'
Ok, well ive been drivin the truck no problems yet. Went to the junkyard to look at the 'so called perfect bedside' it was a rusted out pos. Well, stopped by danny cummings tire shop in mcminnville and talked to him (old member). Nice guy gave me some leads to vendors he's met for parts . Trying to convince him to get another old truck to play with (had some nice ones
Anyhow, saw one of my old buddys at the parts store, he/and his dad have a few of our trucks, well after I left parts store I went to his house and talked to his pops, we may make a deal on a 67 chevy with great patina and a late 70's roller with slot wheels 1/2 ton. Hes gonna leme know tomorow...I'll get pics next time maybe. its got great patina! If I were to put a leaf spring rearned in my truck, I know you can buy axle saddles. But how do you line the rearend up?? And whatcha do about a panhard bar? Thanks! And I need to cough up $100 or so and get a power booster, which do I get (gold plated one or painted or what)?

Re: "Rice Rocket'
you don't need a panhard bar with a leaf spring rear they do the work of keeping the rear in place and spings

I like a painted booster but the plated ones are correct and supposedly hold up well....
Here's the cad coated one on my blazer....

Re: "Rice Rocket'
Why would you want to put leafs on your truck? They axle-hop, and (seemingly) don't ride and handle as nice as coils.
