Just plain sick......I'm sooo jealous

I have to ask, what's the box in front of the axle to the right? Is it part of the exhaust? And when are we gonna get to see a complete wheel?

The hood hinges are sick! but I have to ask, are removable hoods not regulation? Are you required to run a flip-open hood?

Re: No Limit's "K-10"

Yes, I could run a pinned hood, but then you need two people two lift it. I'm still on the hunt for a lighter version. At a lot of events I'm there alone, and a hinged hood is esier for service. The guy in the pict holding up the hood is Owen Toomey. He's from Ireland. He comes over twice a year to help out, hang out, and soak up all the hot rodding he can get. He is a good sheet metal fabricator, and a flathead guru. His current build is a '56 ford big window, right hand drive. (he is truely blue blooded) at home he and his dad have a '51 COE, on air, flathead powered, this is the only air ride hot rod in Ireland.

Re: No Limit's "K-10"

nice hinges! watch out ring bros.. You know the hood is shut most of the time at the race track, or will you be on the show car side????? I have a question since you are from the land of fruit and nuts will you be running a Prius powertrain? I checked sway bar inventory and all I have is plain round bars none with waterjetted logos no 3-d paint jobs, if still intrested I can bring with to west coast.

I use a rule of 5 cu.in. of muffler sizing for 1 cu.in. of engine displacement. This muffler has three layers, two are like a flowmaster, and the top is like a Gibson with stainless packing. The three story design helped to get the exhaust from a 'low input' on the front side, to a 'high output' on the pass, side, to exit easy and clear the suspension. Again, this idea had as much to do with packaging, space and weight, as it did sound and HP.

I just picked up a Street Trucks magazine and there is a teaser that they are going to be writing up your build. Congratulations on there promotion.

Not wanting to divulge all of the secrets, But, we did check out the hipo Leaf powerplant. It seams to be a winner, but you need a big generator to keep it charged, that is a drawback.
