Re: 540 BBC 68 Burb Dually 54" Boggers on Rocks
Legit question, i get asked it about every day from the UPS/USPS/ FedEx or Neighbor or my wife haha. Basically i will hopefully get around to mounting the shocks and links on here in the next week or so then i will basically lift the body off the chassis and roll the frame out into the driveway then drop the body down and roll that out of the garage. I also have 235/75 r16 transport tires to lower it a bit haha. Ill make sure to take some pics of when i do it cause everyone wants to know how!!!

Re: 540 BBC 68 Burb Dually 54" Boggers on Rocks
Thanks buddy, the motor just got done and dynoed. 1372 hp and 1168 lbft of tq. With alcohol and a 15% overdrive pulley lots of timing and like 12 or 13 lbs of boost. I wont run near those kind of numbers though, I have a 10% overdrive about 7 lbs of boost and reduced timing to reduce detonation. Still over 1000 hp just not friggen almost 1400! lol

Re: 540 BBC 68 Burb Dually 54" Boggers on Rocks
So along with stretching the fenders by 14" to contour the 54" boggers i also boxed the fenders so that mud and other debris wont get in them. Also will make cleanup a breeze! Let me know what you think!

Re: 540 BBC 68 Burb Dually 54" Boggers on Rocks
Taking way longer than i thought it was gonna haha. This is at about 8 hours of work. 15 total including the stretch job. So im gonna assume about 22-25 hours of work to get these fenders done along with body filler work.

Re: 540 BBC 68 Burb Dually 54" Boggers on Rocks
Fenders. 16 ga cold rolled. Easy to cut easy to weld and doesnt warp doo bad. Quarter pannels are also 16 ga and the wheel wells are 18 ga. Floor is 1/8 in diamond plate with 1x3 .120 wall (1/8) running accross. Frame shock mounts and roll cage is all 2"x.120. Links are 2.75"x.500. Bumpers and shock tabs are 3/8" and dash is 16 ga hope this all helps paint a picture lol

Re: 540 BBC 68 Burb Dually 54" Boggers on Rocks
Just a lil mud. If you remember i capped and welded the inside of the fenders as well as stretched them like 14" so when i did that i just had to throw some filler where the fenders were flap diked to straighten them out. No big deal... there just gonna get scrapped when i roll it the first time!
