Was out of town training all week. Decided to install the carpert and back cab and install my seats. I searched the forum to find the best adhesives and ideas for installation. I saw one thread about Velcro on the back can! Works terriffic!

After applying the Velcro to the cab, I then applied the fabric to the cab, I then removed the sticky part of the fabric and massaged the carpert on allowing the adhesive to adhere to the carpet for exact placement of both pieces once I was confident that the adhesive was on, I pulled the carpet to Confirm

Thanks Brian! I need to buy some lock rods for my doors. LMC sells a complete kit and I just need the the lock rods. My passenger window is not rolling down smooth like my passenger. I may have to change out regulators... I have a extra one. I just dread taking that window back out! It was a choir installing them. After all that I can finally put my panels on hopefully. I found the original glove box door too! I think I going to get it painted when I take my truck to be touched up to match my truck. I initially planned on a chrome one, but I'm considering to just go with paint, because my door panels are all chrome and my steering column. Haven't made up my mind yet..

Size: 51.8 KBOrdered my stainless steel brake line kit from POL (Performance Online). So my brake set should be complete with that order. I directed my focus on my fuel line next. I've had my tank and my 3/8 inch stainless tubing since the beginning of the build. I've always been a little intimidated with bending and flaring the lines. Fortunately I was admiring RRC build thread when I came upon his fuel line installation. After asking him a few questions and Russ leading me in the right direction. I educated myself on AN fittings and copied his carb to pump installed that Edlebrok/Russell sale as a kit. He also informed me that I could buy an AN fitting instead of doing a flare. I purchased the Proclassic Carb to Pump Hose Kit/with Filter, Edelbrock's ProFilter which has threaded ends that I will splice under the chassis for a double filter application. I also purchased a Fuel Pressure Guage that I will install on the Edelbrock L Carb Hard Line that the hose kit will also connect to and an assortment of AN Fittings, hopefully my goodies will be here by the end of the week! Good thing is! I can go pick up my Dakota Digital Dash first thing in the morning from the UPS Hub!

Is that chrome or Edlebrock Endurashine? This is a really nice build, and hopefully I can make a daytrip up there to see it in person!

Just read your build thread, truck is sweet. I could help you with the hood letter template and live in Bartlesville, I drive to Broken Arrow to Tulsa Tech campus to work each day. Hope you get it done for the show.

I went back and forth on the gauges and the style of the dash plate. I decided to go black with chrome trim to accent my chrome column and custom snake print steering wheel. I thought it would mesh. And give me a well balance the look. I think the silver alloy gauges really makes it pop, the blue led's when lite up will take it to a hole new level. I go with really subtle blue accents like my brake calipers because my paint actually has a blue pearl! Still don't know what I want to do with the glove box door.

Re: 1967 C10 Urban Retro

Sometimes this project can really overwhelm me. Mainly because of my lack of ability or my know how. At times I find myself frustrated. Some of you guys are awe inspiring. That's why Im so humbled when you gentlemen pay me a compliment. I will say this. First and for most I always try and find refuge through God when life gets tough. When the world beats on you. When you go through with tough times in your family, and your job and co-workers begin to stress you out. These trucks are such a stress reliever or an escape! What a great day it will be when the trials and tribulations of life begin to get the best of me and I can just turn on my gospel music and cruise the country side. I had a older cousin, that I loved very much! My passion for cars and trucks came from him. His favorite color was charcoal gray. That's the origin of my color for my truck. I always dreamed of the day I would go by and let him see the truck and we go for a ride together. Unfortunately he passed a little over a year ago. I miss him. He was the best! Getting closer!

Good words! Gold City, Ernie Hasse, Gaither Vocal Band, Brian Free, just some of my favorites. Got to have a subwoofer to appreciate some of them. I'm trying to put together a quartet myself. Gospel is good.

I try to do a little bit on my truck everyday whether big or small. My radiator retainers weren't sitting flush so I made some rubber shims off some high temp gaskets...

I'm going to take that high temp rubber gasket material and put a piece under the radiator cover. There's a gap in between and I think it will help and eliminate that metal to metal problem.

My fuel filter that Im placing on the frame underneath the truck spliced will give me an easy change out with the application of my AN fitting to my stainless tubes. May be some over kill because of the price but, I like the look even though no one can see it! Lol! Yea! I know STUPID!!!

You may want to consider a pair of stainless 10" resonators to take the sass out of the exhaust noise that way you get great pure sound and can talk to the person sitting next to you with a normal speaking voice.
I got mine from Allen's stainless exhaust, here's a link.

Nah... This is one product I'm familiar with and love! I had some on my 69 and I loved them. The 40 series are perfect for me and my wants and needs! Thanks!
