Re: Project: "just a little rust repair, turned LS2 swap"

I think the bmw brown looks best, the olive looks good too. I would narrow it down to those two colors and if you decide you want it to look stock go with green and go with brown if you want a more custom look

I agree there, I actually just found some good shots of that BMW Marrakesh brown and like it even more now.

I like the Olive Green, its a classic color that would look great on your truck. I still love the GM light Green though.

Wow,,, that brown looks pretty good. I'm not normally a brown kinda guy, but, that does look good. Now you got me thinking about incorporating it into my paint scheme.

I also have to agree with you too! I think with everything done to the truck a little classic paint job would be cool. My first choice for it was the 503 light green (sea foam) I still have that in the back of my mind.

Re: Project: "just a little rust repair, turned LS2 swap"

Just for info....went to ppg rep today...Inca gold and marrakesh brown both have 2 pearls for effect...not the usual coarse or fine silvers..which means alot easier to avoid motting the color.....Inca 250 gallon in shopline....M brown 148 gallon in shopline.......check this link...boy i'm leanin here...check that pic in the sun.....jim

Re: Project: "just a little rust repair, turned LS2 swap"

I went to pick up a pizza a couple of weeks ago and in the parking lot was a tricked out blazer of our years, slammed, four wheel slotted discs, nice interior. The paint? What paint? it was bare metal with clear applied directly to it. Very unique and very nice, I think your truck would be a perfect candidate for this treatment since its wow factor is in the chassis. Just a thought, but I still vote for brown if you do go with paint.
