Are we talking like the really glossy material used on some bar stools?

Yup, it's gonna be blue and black with the metal flake look in both colors.

I kind of took a chance ,having it covered like that but we'll see how it looks.

Thanks for all the compliments guys ,I'll post some pics of the seat as soon as I can.

Re: Surf Blue

After I post the seat pics ,that might be the last of progress that I report for a while. I've been looking for another project (car) to fix up. Something that my wife and I can both drive and enjoy with a backseat. I found what I was looking for (1963 Riviera) and sent the guy a deposit to hold it for me ,so if I get it I'll probably be busy on it for a while.

Re: Surf Blue

Show us some pics on the buick also. Just because its not a truck doesn't mean that it can't be on here also. I've been watching this build closely and you are a great inspiration to us all. Maybe we need a non-truck section for builds? Keep up the awesome work!

Will do, as long as everything goes well and I actually get my hands on it. Thanks for the compliment.

Re: Surf Blue

I finally got my seat back in my truck, like I said it's kind of different.

I picked up my new project as well ,gonna be working on getting it bagged and street legal ASAP. I think I'm going to make this car lay all the way out on the ground. I enclosed some pics of that as well since some of you wanted to see what I was going to do next.

Re: Surf Blue

Haven't done much to the truck lately, other than drive it. Since it's been a little warmer lately. I'm planning on getting the bed liner sprayed soon, and maybe building a small sub enclosure for behind the seat (maybe). I'll post more pics when I get the liner sprayed.

Most of my time and money has been going to the Rivi lately. (FYI)

Oops... my fault that was Danny Ewing's truck. Similar body lines different color... my bad!

Completely disregard the post above. If you're interested in what I mentioned above check out this thread.
