Re: 66 DiBella (means of the beautiful)
Ya its alot of hp. I will never tune it to 1600 hp but my engine builder has a big block chevy at the shop that he pulled out of a 27 foot cat. It has the wipple set up on it making 900hp on 91 and this motor was tearing up 1000hp outdrives. Now I no its a ford motor I am running not a chevy, but the heads I am running will and should flow more air than the heads on the chevy in the shop. I will get some pics of the chevy motor so you can see the set up I am talking about

Re: 66 DiBella (means of the beautiful)
I don't know, I saw him drive his 67 into and out of the Gold Rush Carshow earlier this year. That is a 200 mile round trip from his neck of the woods, maybe he like to drive them (I think that is the way it should be ).

Re: 66 DiBella (means of the beautiful)
So did you like the 67. I wish I could say I drove that truck to golg rush but i would have burned 60 gallons of fuel. Blower motors suck the fuel down. I pulled it there on an open trailer with a front rock gaurd.

Re: 66 DiBella (means of the beautiful)
I just finished reading your build, your '67 was awesome, but I have a feeling that this one will be even more awesome! oh...and I really like the idea of the crossram intake with the cover idea, just my two cents....keep up the great work!

Re: 66 DiBella (means of the beautiful)
Thanks guys for all the props on the trucks. I really need to buy a car trailer but I am in the works on a new truck so the car trailer will have to wait. Just can't afford to do it all.

Re: 66 DiBella (means of the beautiful)
I know I have alot of these trucks but they are like crack to me I just love there body lines and that is why I buy and build them. I have thought about selling the 40 because I am so not motivated to build it. The funny part about it is that car is worth more then any of my trucks but just cant seem to get motivated to finish it. I may trade it for a 69 z28. Trying to work the deal out as we speak.
