Re: New member with a 1960
Thanks.... It looks pretty good to not have been polished, but it could look better, I think the guy who painted it did a jam up job, those fenders and firewall were far from pretty and smooth when he started!
Looks like I will be bringing them home tonight to start buffing!

Re: New member with a 1960
I know what you mean about the hands. I play doublebass, and have found I can't work on the truck the same days I play. I get hand cramps.

Re: New member with a 1960
Nice mirrors!! Must have been lots of hours polishing...
I recocnize your hands Goatless, I too play the doublebass once in a while (and repair them too for all those Rockers who brake them ) it hurts sometimes with the blisters and muscles that don't want to work anymore....

Re: New member with a 1960
I know the feeling well!
Hoping to get all the paint/clear done in the next week or so and then get the glass installed! The interior fellow will be ready soon!

Re: New member with a 1960
The rears are 305/35/20 We have realized that I have plenty of room in the rear after the tubs and narrowing the rear end, the next set will more than likely be a 345 or a M/T tire a bit wider!
