thanks for the info... I am allset for parts now, Funny how I when I was looking for a donor I couldn't find one. figures... hee hee got the glass in and now its hours of re fitting the doors again. This time around thinks are a tad bit more fun. It is def. going to be some serious hours on the doors. on a good note. I found out my th350 is actually a th350c locker. From what the trans guy says you can hook a toggle switch to it and once at highway speed lock the trans and it will lower my rpm's like an o.d. system. 1st I have ever heard of it, but I am liking the idea. here's two pics, may as well at a pic or two since you guys had to read through the babble... lol Brian

Re: J.M. Laflamme Build
The donor cab came with doors. The bottoms were shot, surprise i know. So i cut the frames off, sand blasted them and started fitting the pass. Side.
Figured it was easier to replace the whole upper frame then to pc. The pieces back on. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: J.M. Laflamme Build
Sorry to hear the glass issue came up!! looks like 'improvise and overcome' is prevailing - nice work!
since all is already said-and-done - for my 2cents, I think it looks better now - the truck looked like a short chubby kid with a chop top |

Re: J.M. Laflamme Build
i must say, i am impressed lol i remember when i first signed onto this forum and you were in the beginning stages with this build...i am currently now 3 months from graduating U.T.I and finally starting mine...if you remember all i have done since i got my 55 advanced was put the nose on it for pictures, but im currently looking for an s10 frame to kick things off...what is your take on that because i see you used a 1500 and interceptor rear end but i dont have fabricating skills

Re: J.M. Laflamme Build
was hoping to take a break for a bit until i get the phone call of calls...
Well after my Uncle saying my build was now in HIS way... it was time to trailer her back home and make due with what we have. did what I could to make it work off my 1 car garage, went to tractor supply and put up a temp. addition. now that we are settled again and prepped for winter, it is time to start fitting the front fenders. I made all the cut outs for the headlight buckets and marker lights. The nose fits ok but now finding these fiberglass fenders are being a tad of a pain to fit. here are a couple cell pics, sorry for quality but for inspiration i just had to update this build. enjoy! and keep up the good work you all! Brian

Re: J.M. Laflamme Build
Well the truck is officially SOLD!
the good news is, it is to a local guy who seems to be a great fit for the truck. Thank you all for your support and good continued luck with your projects! I will check in from time to time, the new owner is planning on continueing the build thread from here, which I think is a great thing. onward... Brian
