Re: '67 step-side replacement rear bumper
Ok, got it on today, but the sun was going down when I took the pics. I will take better ones and update tomorrow. It still needs to be adjusted a bit too. A couple of the frame holes need to be reamed out a bit to allow for a better fit.
I like your new thread name alot Kyle! Later guys... Don

Re: '67 step-side replacement rear bumper
Ack! Looks like the engine rebuild and transmission overhaul is going to come sooner than later.
I am loosing 2nd gear while driving as well as 4th. Yuck. Transmission overhaul is going to cost me 700 bucks. Oh well, I knew it was going to happen eventually. D

Re: '67 step-side replacement rear bumper
Thank you!
Got a new present today. My temp guage has been working on-and-off lately (more off than on) so I did some checking this last weekend to see why it wasn't working correctly. I found out that I needed to replace the ignition switch in my truck so I went down to Desert Muscle Cars where they have a great selection of parts for our old trucks. Found the switch and low and behold!!! I found a repop '67 ignition switch chrome bezel. They had just gotten them in. I had asked about the bezel awhile back and they said "nope, can't help ya. One year only part." I am finding out that alot of stuff on my stepper is one year only. That can be a bummer at times... I feel like it's Christmas!!! Mine is in really bad shape and I have been looking to replace it. I will post pics tomorrow, I had forgotten my camera today. Later, D

Re: '67 step-side replacement rear bumper
Desert Muscle Cars is a good outfit. The guy gave me my money back on a re-pop cigar lighter assembly that burned up after I hooked it up. Don's Hot Rod Shop is right down the street, also friendly and knowledgeable.

Re: '67 step-side replacement rear bumper
Picked up some new headlight, windshield wiper and choke knobs today! About time too, mine were rather bad looking. I know, I don't have pics, I will post them tomorrow!
