have you guys ever done any chopped tops on a 64-66 cab of a truck? i'm debating whether to use a '66 chopped cab from my dad's old truck, so i'm trying to dig up any pics i can find
btw, the Burb is looking awesome...can't wait to see the new pics |

Well I didn't do squat this weekend...but apparently they did!
Justin took a lot of images, but it's kinda hard for me to go over each one since I wasn't here, so I'll just tell you what got did... The roof section above the main part of the cab was lengthened, and widened in order to match up to the existing windshield frame and to leave the stock contour. Leaning the pillar back would not have looked right. Doing it this way was more work, but looks way better. The rear corners were split and rewelded to line up the glass frame. The rear hatch was cut up....and I have NO IDEA what they are doing to it, LOL! Actually it was chopped, but I know it was reshaped a lot. Looks great now. The A-pillars are all done now and as we speak the guys are getting the chop finished up. More pics to come.
