I saw this nicer looking aluminum stock for the dash trim, So I redid it from the 1/4" half round stock. This lets you run LED lights behind it (which I think really looks nice)
I shaped the ends to a spear sanded 320-100- grit , polished and then shaped it to the contour of the dashPosted via Mobile Device Last edited by slammed57; 04-20-2021 at 01:52 PM. Reason: double |

Re: slammed 57
nice job as I assumed from you. The details are outstanding. Those led light chrome trim is very cool. How do you run power to them? I assume they're on 12 volt? Looks good, and the weather here today is SNOW!!

Oooh... now I really like it. I was already looking at that trim in blue to match a blue instrument cluster! We’ll see.

Looking good! I finally put a coat of primer on my 57 this week. Now I’ll be sanding for a while until I get it straight!

Great progress…it’s coming along. I’m hoping to start laying mud soon myself. Not my favorite step in the project

Re: slammed 57
It's looking good. All the sanding makes the finished product in the end. What are you using for poly? Steve
