Re: Project "Funky Monkey"
: That's funny. I see a new Speed Channel show coming out of this. Just add a little drama and you will have a hit T.V. show.

Re: Project "Funky Monkey"
and some progress on the plumbing
The rear lines run very close to the notch but they dont touch. It makes me a little nervous but I think it will be ok after i adjust the trailing arms

Re: Project "Funky Monkey"
I finally got the tires I have been wanting. I orignally went with the BF Goodrich G-Force but the rear tires were on backorder for 3 months. I called Michelin and they told me they had no plans on making that size any time soon so I upgraded to the Michelin Pilot Sport Plus. I am running the Boss 338 wheels 20x8 front with 255/35ZR20 and 20x10 in the rear with 275/35ZR20.

Re: Project "Funky Monkey"
Thanks!!
Motor is now sitting in the frame. I may have a problem with the oil pan hitting the rack but hopefully a few small shims on the rack will resolve that issue. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Project "Funky Monkey"

Re: Project "Funky Monkey"
Looks great, love the new engine, loved the old engine too.
Your lucky it wasn't "big trash day" we have scrap jockeys that drive around before the city trash people come around and snag all the metal out of the pile. We used to put stuff out and see how long it took for someone to take it. lots of fun..

Re: Project "Funky Monkey"
They are the patriot clippster mid-length ceramic coated headers. I ordered the Sanderson headers... But they were on backorder and I couldn't wait that long. They look exactly the same but were a bit cheaper.
Thanks man... I sure hope so. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Project "Funky Monkey"
Anyone in the GA area want to help with some wrenching on Saturday and Sunday? I'm hoping to get the cab and front clip on this weekend and MAYBE get her fired up for the first time on Sunday.
I would REALLY love someone that could help me shave my firewall while the cab is off. I'd even be willing to reimburse you for your gas money if you could help me do that. Otherwise I'm just going to put it off til the summer. Posted via Mobile Device
