Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

I am definitely in the market for a 2wd and don't care if it's a converted 4wd as that should keep the cost down of course...Let me know if you guys find anything on the east coast. I check craigshelper, ebay, etc weekly at least and daily most of the time...but always seem to miss something.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

Thanks...any chance you've seen that one...looks like it would be pretty rough especially at that price...but if it's decent, It'd be worth shipping.

Honestly I am leaning towards a 4wd to convert now...for some of the reasons I read in your thread (trailing arms having to be modded, etc.) Plus, the converted 4wd w/ a dropmember and notch would go a little lower than a 2wd from what I have been told.

I think the max I would go would be in the 7-8k range unless I found something really nice for a good deal.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

This picture alone would scare the crap out of me - keep looking for a better one rust-wise...(my opinion)...

Even for that price - it isn't a deal...considering the amount of work left to do to get to driver status...

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

I'll agree, the only value there is the frame, and I'd look it over very closely for rust given all the rust on that truck. I certainly wouldn't pay the $2,250 BIN.

Why do links to ebay no longer work?

I haven't seen any lately other than 13racer's green stocker in Milton and BabyBlue's roadster project in Portland.
