It's just metal work... You obviously love doing metal work
It'll look good when you're done with it. I like the rendering too. Keep it up!

The rendering is sick and love the idea of the 57 dash.

Re: Buried to Bagged 1972 2wd
Got a little done today!!! I was seriously slacking for the past few months so it felt good to make some headway!! Almost completed the driver side, just a little more grinding. The passenger side is gonna have to wait till next weekend.

Where will you tank and compressors go? I'm trying to figure out where I can fit them on my Blazer.

Re: Buried to Bagged 1972 2wd
Between the c-notches was the best place I could find for mine and the way that I am building it out. You may not want to cut as much as I did.

Re: Buried to Bagged 1972 2wd
This thing looks awesome!! I am really happy with my last minute color choices that I made with the powdercoat.
Yes, those are LEDs in the frame for a little accent lighting. A throwback to Slick67.

Re: Buried to Bagged 1972 2wd
I took the frame out to Lone Star Throwdown 2017 and got some really good reactions. This is gonna be a pretty cool ride when it's done! That is Jason Thorbecke set up behind me so I had a really good spot.

I wish I had known you and your chassis were at LST. I would love to have checked it out and visited for a bit. Maybe next time.

Re: Buried to Bagged 1972 2wd
Your frame looks great. I did have a question, I noticed in an earlier post you where taking frame parts to powder coater and there was surface rust. Did tbe parts get sandblasted before powder coat. I have 0 experience with powder coating that's why I ask.
Thanks Marc

Re: Buried to Bagged 1972 2wd
Beautiful chassis!
What's the plan for the air compressors and tank once the tub is on? Will they be inside with you or under the tub? I have one small compressor inside my blazer behind the rear seat, and it drives me crazy when it's running.
