Re: Weekly Sightings
that truck is GORGEOUS!!!!!!! the more you look at it the more stuff you see. bet at night it looks like a christmas tree of awesome. oh and looking at the pics of the yellow truck, the one pic showing all the cars, gotta notice the poser in the new mustang, cuz he thinks he will get more attention than these old cars, geez, kids these days. he has all his cool factory stickers on it.

Re: Weekly Sightings
decent looking slant with a cowl hood in town the other day. she is a little rough around the edges, but a good enough looking truck.

Re: Weekly Sightings
sure they arent trucks, but they are good examples of what real cars are. the belair is a pretty nice car. had a ford 9in under it. and the chevyII i saw today, ive never been around chevyIIs so i dont know how to tell if its a fake or real ss car, i know chevelles well, but this car had all the era correct looking ss badges. it was a truly gorgeous car.

Re: Weekly Sightings
The problem with that Chevy II is that they never came with camaro hood louvers. And by the headlight bezels, it's a '66.

Re: Weekly Sightings
I saw a really nice 69-70 out at a local golf course. All the goodies, buckets, tilt, tach. Awesome show quality ride the paint is beautiful. Not sure if the owner is a member but I wish I could talked to him and gotten the full tour.

Re: Weekly Sightings
Could you tell if that was original or restored. It sure looks like a survivor.

Re: Weekly Sightings
Custom Deluxe that was for sale down the road..should've bought it but don't have the room or the extra cash. Had some pretty sweet options..dealer pushguard, search light, plastic bed guard, tool box..and was a highlander edition. PO said it had 64k verified miles.

Re: Weekly Sightings
very curious what the SPID said for seat trim... did you happen to notice? Black an uncommon highlander option. Assume it was black/white plaid, but curious. What was the guy asking for the truck?

Re: Weekly Sightings
Under the seat cover it had the highlander gray plaid with black..the truck looked pretty good. PO said he was asking $3500. I already have my 69 with a inline 6..my wife said I didnt need another truck...and money is tight with home projects.

Re: Weekly Sightings
oh i hear ya - i'm mulling over the same issues - have the 66 up for sale just to be able to afford/make room for the next project, and it's kinda breakin my heart... We'll see. Thanks for sharing, that is a cool truck and, assuming it's not too rusty, that's a decent price.

Re: Weekly Sightings
dude, your truck is sick. here is a few ive seen this week. the red c20 i saw today, utility bed, flawless truck, modern frame. then the 72 longbed in pieces, poor old girl was in picknpull. i went to see her and see what good parts it had. then the other blue one was an old guy i saw driving her, at least she was on the road.
