Re: post latest 1/4 and 1/8 mile times and 60ft.

Don't laugh at my sad times but it was with an open rear end my first night testing with new motor. 15.02 at 98.8 mph in the 1/4. Tried as hard as I could but it was all smoke until about the 330ft line

Re: post latest 1/4 and 1/8 mile times and 60ft.

wish i could get a tire with that big of a foot print under mine, on a good day (not a 100 degrees) do you hook good, if you do what air pressure are you running and what kind of a burnout do you do? hope I'm asking to many questions, just trying to get these radial figured out.

Flip,

What radial do you have?
What size wheel?
What pressure you running?
What about shocks and springs?

275/60/15 m/t pro radial, 8 inch wheel, seems to hook the best at 16 psi, shocks are just Monroe gas , and springs are 4 inch lowering springs from ccp on the rear, and Monroe gas with drop spindles and 1 inch lowering springs in the front, basically stock suspension. not relly a drag truck but we do take it to a lot of test and tune nights mostly street driven.

Re: post latest 1/4 and 1/8 mile times and 60ft.

I've got some more tuning to do, but this was the first time out to test and tune. 30 over 454, Comp cams extreme energy xe-268, Performer intake, Q-Jet, Headman full length headers, 700r4, Cal-Tracs, 3.42 10 bolt, with a gov-loc, running on Cooper street tires 275/60-15's. Car number 51, all three right columns, ignore the first column its the other guys.
