Sure does. If that isn't a station wagon I don't know what is.
The Bronco is an SUV. I am speechless...

Re: Pic Thread: Station Wagons
Wagons are sooo cool. Heres mine. Nope hasn't been out of the shed since the treadle-vac went kaput. But with only 32,000 miles didn't want to road trip it all over anyway.

Re: Pic Thread: Station Wagons
I have no clue what kind of wagon this is and I'm usually pretty good at knowing these things.
And that one dog looks like it's flashing a B.A. There's one in every crowd. They all look a little pugnacious.

Re: Pic Thread: Station Wagons
Look at that nasty bunch oif dogs all sticking their tongues out and even one mooning the protographer. I dig those twice pipes mon!
That wagon is a Chevrordodgambler. Remember back when the brand of vehicle was, maybe had to be, masked in advertisement s so as to not highlight one brand? I always wondered about that, why it was and why was it stopped. One of my life's great mysteries. That Plymouth Fury Wagon picture I showed has >>9!!<< kids lined up! Makes me realize what tiny little beings they really are. How many adults could you possibly line up there? Look at all them groceries mom bought. I see a good $15 spent there. Only 5 smackers left for gas, and you know that will barely fill it up!

Those old wagons had so much style and the car companies gave the engines such cool names like "Golden Lion, Super Commando, Rocket 88, Fireball, Magnum and a few I'm sure I'm forgetting.

Anyone driven a push button automatic tranny equipped vehicle? Curious what that’s like.

I had a typewriter Torqueflite in my '63 Dodge Dart. They have no park position, you have to use the park brake. Just push the button, and you're in that gear. The buttons simply set the stroke of the cable to the selector valve in the transmission.
