'56 was done before i found this site, i just have pictures..... Hope you get your truck problem puzzle worked out soon.....

It's not looking good for me but I haven't given up on the motor yet.

I agree that you deserve a pat on the back. I like to see this father/son stuff. I just handed a 73 Plymouth Satellite over to my oldest boy and we're just getting started with it. So far we've rebuilt the front end (steering mostly) and broke the A/C.

Thank you sir! It's been fun! These comments keep us motivated, it's slowed down some since school started, and football keeps him busy during the week, he works at discount tire saturday. So i do some small stuff, but we typically try to get some work done on sundays...

BTW, how did the seatbelt restoration turn out?

The restoration was too pricey at this time. It was close to $300 bucks. I will
have to figure something else out. Maybe I will find my originals someday.

Thanks Mark! My son is stoked , we still need to run the fuel line, and i need to decide on and purchase a wiring harness

Just came across this build.. Man it's looking good! My boys are helping me with mine, too. They are only 8, 6 and 1.. it might be done before the 8 y/o is driving!!

It will either be a Ron Francis, or american autowire. I have a Ron Francis in the '56 and i am very pleased with it.

I have been thinking of the american auto wire as well, $800 for the complete original kit though

The upgrade kit that they have for $500 is only 69 and up and our e-brake interferes...
