Re: Vintage 4wd Pictures:Other Makes

Well I think I've got the best of both! With a 67 truck and my 48 Willys, only way it could get any better is to talk my wife into a 67-72 burb!

Re: Vintage 4wd Pictures:Other Makes

I got a few from around Russels jeep racing era. I used to work pit crew for these guys. Baker, Johnson, Jacobus, Sheldon, Parsons and a couple of others. The gold Chevy longbed is mine and it is me walking across the street. John Baker is in front of the Bronco

I recently moved the winch equipment from my latest M35A2 acquisition to my M342A2 and added bead lock rims with 14.5r20's Michelins.
Truck definitely looks different!

Heres a couple more, I am the guy barely visible in the shorts with no shirt coming to help dump the fuel can on the drivers side of the Bronco. Not many safety requiements for pit crew members in the old days!

Re: Vintage 4wd Pictures:Other Makes

I hate Fords but here's one that I respect, it's a 79 f-250 Highboy x-cab that one of my friends did a full fraim off restoration-modification to,
460ci BBF,c-6 trans, NP-205 t-case, Dana 60 front, Corperate GM rear with disk break conversion, 6" suspention lift, filled stake pockets, custom interrior and sterio system, he has the hours in it to make me respect it.

Here's my friend's 1966 IH one ton 4x4 truck. just oozes heavy duty. It's loud, rough riding and bare-knuckle. It's got the 4 speed with od, and a huge Dana 70 front end. Hope you folks enjoy it!

A while back I added a 1966 Kaiser Jeep M35A2 w/w to my expanding motorpool. Either it or the 1970 will likely get a similar treatment as the 1969.

Here's a link to a guy that has restored several of the old Marmon-Herrington converted Fords. Pretty cool seeing them still earning their keep!
