Re: pictures of shortbox stepsides

20x8.5 & 255/35/r20 up front and 22x9 & 265/40/r22 on the rear. 5/7 drop with drop spindles & springs on the front, 6" springs & 1" block out back with NO c-notch. The rear end is the wide length and centered with a CPP trac bar. I have about 1/2"-3/4" clearance on the inside of the bed and about 1/2" clearance on the fender lip. This combo would clear on air with a size smaller rear tire perfect. I hope this helps.

Just when I was thinking about getting rid of mine to work on my longbed, you guys start this post. Added parts for the front disc brake setup and has been sanded down for the new Satin Black.

The Pressure. The Pressure.

VDOG: Cool '68 GMC. One small step every available day makes the project move.
My '68 C/10 Chevy Stepside was an LA truck. I bought it in Pasadena. It was built at Fremont, and I once saw on the build sheet [before it disintegrated in my hands upon hitting modern atmosphere] that it was sold out of Felix Chevrolet.

Keep this thread going. Please include drop or lift height and wheel details. Giving me all sorts of options to decide for my 68 stepper. Thanks everyone.

Re: pictures of shortbox stepsides

Here's a pic of my short bed dually under construction. I am sorry but I don't have a pics of it with the bed on it yet, maybe this weekend.

I am sure you all only want to see finished trucks and for that I apologize. Hopefully you can use a little imagination and "SEE" this shortbox, stepside in your mind's eye.
