Is this probable?

That's the way to get it done (sounds like you've done it before).

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

I have not done it before but that would be the steps I would take. I was just hoping I would not flex the cab and break something. I guess if I vut all the bolts off first that may remove any binding....and I could do one at a time till all 4 were done.

Are the more noise reducing bushings (word?) than others?

The rubber bushings would be quieter than any poly bushings (if they offer poly bushings for trucks). I would go ahead & start spraying the bolts w/penetrating oil now. Give them a small shot daily for several days before you try to do the work if they're rusty.

Finally! It see's daylight!

Well nine months after my "quick lowering job" I finally drove the truck out of the shop under it's own power.....it even stopped with all it's new brake parts! I still need to do some work on getting some more vacuum to make the brakes and the trans work right but at least I can run up and down the street and start fixing all the little gremlins and fine tuning. It felt real good to see Lucy sitting outside in the sun and it was even better sitting behind the wheel without having to make all the motor sounds!

It shouldn't need a vacuum pump.

My phone is dead but I'll be in touch to work out a schedule for next week. It looks great out in the sunlight!
