Congrats on completing the build, but are you really ever done?
I like that stance of the truck, can you lay it on the ground with those bags? Tri5 |

Sweet truck. Need to do something about the front bumper, rest of the truck is too nice for that one.

Ha ha, no not actually done, but she's on the road. I have interior to finish. She is as low as she'll get, the front crossmember is 1" off the ground. I'm not sure what to do about the front bumper, might paint it white, like she was stock.

Re: My Project 56Chevy1300
i was thinking the same you might want to paint it white or metallic silver
dunno if rechroming it cost a lot but that might be nice too , maybe make a little rollpan on the back as whell so it looks a bit smoother .

Re: My Project 56Chevy1300
Looking good, it probably cheaper to buy a new chrome bumper. 220$ from The old Car Center in BC.

Re: My Project 56Chevy1300
So does this mean we can meet at a cruise or show in Edmonton this summer? Maybe a Wednesday night at Wendy's on the southside?

I don't know that much about the cruise...what questions do you have and I can ask my mechanic.

Re: My Project 56Chevy1300
I was just curious as to what it came off of. From my knowledge, the box looks like it came off of a 88-94 chevy truck. Could you ask him what year cruise box it is and how he wired it up? I would greatly appreciate it.

Re: My Project 56Chevy1300
You're right, mid-90's chevy pickup. The only thing I'm missing right now to run the cruise is a two-pronged speed censor. That make sense?

Re: My Project 56Chevy1300
I like it. The wood on the bed look good too. I think on the wood the end should match the shape of the rear fender, and the front match the cab angle.

Re: My Project 56Chevy1300
I like the door writing but the white roof i don't think so. The box side should be two narrow boards with the upper one being shorter.
