The house is done. I haven't worked on the truck since a few days before the fire, though. I have cranked it and drove it around some, but I haven't actually done anything to it.

Let me check. I think I have 3 of them, but I'm not sure I have all 4

I would like to know more about the NP435 and how you mated it to a chevy bellhousing.

Re: 67 C-30 Dually pickup build.

Yes. the NP435 was a direct bolt up to the SM420 bellhousing.

I cranked the truck and drove it around the yard last weekend, but since our fire, I have pretty much stalled on all projects. I sold my '69 Camaro 3 weeks ago, and several others cars trucks (I've sold 6 cars in the last month). I am going to buy a restored, completed muscle car with money from the sale of my '69 and the other stuff. I am going to keep something as a project, but I've decided what yet. I'd hate to sell this truck because I have lot of work in it, and I still think it would be awesome completed. I also would hate to sell the '70 SWB BB CST, so I don't know what I'm going to yet.

Re: 67 C-30 Dually pickup build.

I really need to get back on it. It has kinda slid to backburner since the fire. I have been busy working on my GTO and I just got a '68 C-10 that have been working on as well. Its a shame, because it doesn't need all that much to be put back together.

Re: 67 C-30 Dually pickup build.

I can completely relate. I have the 72 Porterbuilt Suburban frame off project going, and then found my 68 short bed. Now the 70 dually. I've run out of time and room! Can't wait to see yours done when you get the chance. She's gonna be really cool!

I am going to try my best to get back on this thing this fall. There's so many little things that just need to be done that won't even cost much money. For right now, I'd just like to get it back on the road and put a coat of flat black on it, and drive it!

Re: 67 C-30 Dually pickup build.

I've just about made my mind up to sell it, as bad I hate to. It just seems like it has got shuffled to the backburner and I don't know if I'm going to get back on it. I may sell it and the ramp truck after the first of the year.

Re: 67 C-30 Dually pickup build.

Just keep it and work on it when you have time. When you get to drive it you will not want to sell it. Mine sat for 5 years in the weather not covered up in pieces after I gave up on it. Then my buddy wanted my Harley I told him to get all the pieces I needed for my truck that I wanted. This lit the spark and been working on it since not all the time but steady. I'm just waiting when I hit the key for the first time and out comes all the black and white smoke in the air and the smell of diesel.
