Re: J.M. Laflamme Build
finally got some new wheels and put them on... ugh what a difference! They are Mustang GT wheels from about a 06'ish.. I had to machine the center bore on the front wheels to accept the chevy hub but it was well worth it!

Re: J.M. Laflamme Build
well the winter months are running out and I need to get some things done on the fiftyfive. I need to do the clutch packs in my ford nine inch rear end so while im in there im going to swap out the gears.. im not sure what I have for gears right now but they are too low to ride the highway. any suggestions as to what gears I should be running in order to hit the highway comfortably while still maintaining that nice off the line giddy up. if anyone has some input it would be appreciated! thanks!

Re: J.M. Laflamme Build
Those wheels are close to the same look as a Coy's wheel. Look good on the pickup...Jim

Re: J.M. Laflamme Build
the 3:56's that are in there should be ok for highway. should run your around 2600 rpm @ 65 mph.
3:73 are running me around 2900-3000 @ 65mph 3:08 maybe a nicer set up. what did you end up going with?
